Noam Chomsky is a leading figure in the field of linguistics of the twentieth century. Since 1955 he taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where at age 32 became a full professor.

The Trainer of Trainers Workshop of UNESCO held in the beautiful city of Granada in Spain, more than a space formal learning is a rich forum for exchange and dissemination of ideas, experiences and best practices of information literacy.
It was the beginning of a journey where we all come from different areas integrate the improvement of the complex process of developing information literacy in individuals that facilitate decision making in any context.
recently participated in the 4th International Workshop on Health Information and Communication held at the University of Brasilia where he continued spreading information literacy. The inaugural lecture was delivered masterfully by Professor Jesús Lau, a tireless advocate for the need for information literacy. In the workshop itself it was weaving a web of knowledge that enables the integration of all participants in a common goal, to create an International Network of Studies and Research in Information Technology, Education and Health Communication.
Participants from Spain, Mexico, Chile, Dominican Republic, Canada, Brazil and Cuba we discussed our experiences, knowledge transfer, skills and attitudes of health information and communication.
in the workshop of the American Granada bystanders we agreed to create a Regional Network of Information Literacy and the working group specialized libraries were launching a manifesto of integration.
The alternative seems to be clear, networking to facilitate the teaching-learning processes that disseminate information literacy for all and contribute to the information culture of our people.
