Vigil Held in Barcelona for Freedom of the 5
on Saturday 11 September between 21.30 am and 24.00 in the Plaza de Sant Jaume de Barcelona, \u200b\u200bthe vigil was held to Free the Cuban Five unjustly imprisoned in U.S. prisons for fighting terrorism practiced from the U.S., Cuban exiles protected and funded by the U.S. authorities against the people of Cuba.
The event, organized by the Catalan Platform "Defenseman CUBA" against the Blockade and the Free the Five,
attended more than a hundred people and was attended by representatives of collective solidarity, the world of culture, trade unions, political parties and parliamentarians.
For two hours, in the Plaza de Sant Jaume, opposite the gates of City Hall and the Headquarters of the Generalitat Government of Catalonia, very busy that day being the Feast Catalan National hundreds of leaflets were distributed explaining the case of the 5 and demanding his release. also read a letter of Antonio Guerrero, sang songs in support of Cuba and shouted slogans demanding the immediate and unconditional release of 5, by representatives of solidarity organizations and the Association of Cubans in Catalonia "José MartÃ".
The event concluded at 00.00 hours on 12, with reading a manifesto signed by "Defenseman Cuba, denounced 12 years of injustice done to the Cuban 5 and their families. on behalf of 92 organizations that comprise it, renewing the commitment to persevere in the struggle and the complaint against the United States to secure the return of 5 to his Cuban homeland.
