Aleida Guevara (Havana, Cuba, November 24, 1960) is a Cuban pediatrician and the eldest of four children of Ernesto Che Guevara with his second wife, Aleida March.

Aleida is a doctor specializing in pediatrics. Working in the William Soler Children's Hospital and is a collaborator of Che Guevara Studies Center. He has also worked in Angola, Nicaragua Ecuadory. He is also member of the Communist Party of Cuba. In his film Sicko, Michael Moore's interview about the philosophy behind universal health care system in Cuba.
Aleida has published three scientific papers in two journals of the country and has lectured on Public Health of Cuba and the Cuban reality in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, France, Cyprus, Greece, India, Ecuador, Brazil and Argentina, among other countries (invited by organizations of solidarity with Cuba and coordinated through ICAP-Cuban Friendship Institute with people with works closely since 1993.
is an active collaborator of Che Guevara Studies Center , Havana, in coordination with the same lectures on the life and work of Che . In 2002 a documentary on childhood memories of Che that was titled "Present Absence."
published in 2004 a book based on an interview with Venezuelan President
was titled: "Chavez is a man who's there." In 2006 he published another book with interviews with members of the movement Brazilian social landless rural workers that was titled: "MST: Seed of life and hope."
